Blackstone's Police Manuals and Q&As Online offers a comprehensive combined package containing the new fully searchable online version of the four Blackstone's Police Manuals and the Blackstone's Police Q&As Online the new online question database. Endorsed by the NPIA it is the latest study and learning resource for police officers who are taking the Part 1 sergeants and inspectors Promotion exams in 2010. It will also be invaluable to all other police officers for use as a general reference tool. Subscribers can gain easy access to the content via the table of contents, the consolidated A-Z index or by using the powerful search engine. The service has over 1000 questions in the database - each of the same format and difficulty as the actual examination. Choose the number of questions you want to do, from 10 questions to a whole mock exam. Also, study questions from a single subject (Crime, Road Policing, General Police Duties or Evidence) or a mixture of all four subjects. Fully linked together, you can check each answer in the Manuals and read the corresponding cross reference. The online service covers new legislation and updates to existing legislation, including the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008, the Serious Crime Act 2007, the Criminal Evidence (Witness Anonymity) Act 2008, new offences under the Road Safety Act 2006, the Counter-Terrorism Act 2008, and the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2008, and the PACE Codes of Practice. New questions are added every month and the service is completely revised annually in August, in line with the new syllabus. Available as a 12 month subscription.
