1077 Tour de France indir kitap bedava

Between the seventeen of us there are 1077 years on the clock. We are setting sail from Portsmouth for Cherbourg, and biking down to Saint-Lo, the Martyr of the Ruins. We are following a route taken by World War II Allied Forces as they fought to free Europe from oppression. We meet the real life characters, for whom each day was either life or death; oppression or freedom. How can we know how joyous the prospect of freedom was for the French civilians? We have not been occupied in recent history. We are visiting in the aftermath of the 75th anniversay of D Day, and the hoardings telling the stories of the regions we cycle through, are still exhibited. Beyond the mists of time are people who laughed, and loved just like us. We jolly through comedy, adventure, history, and multiple punctures. Never ask for whom the bell tolls, it could be your puncture. That's the thing about travelling, and like schooldays, writing up your essay afterwards; you enjoy the experience twice over. We are deep into December. Carols are playing on the radio somewhere far away. Last minute cards are delivered. One can feel that river towpath, and all that has happened there. Some who fought down there did not, like us, get to load their bikes on the ferry, and go home. What remains of them is still there. Whilst they fought for freedom, endured combat fatigue, saw comrades die in terrible ways, those they lived alongside became their family. If they were lucky enough to get home, would those back home understand what they had seen, which would change them forever? Is that why so many never talked about their experiences?
