Kitap açıklaması

Stellan Wrath is a soft sci-fi / fantasy literary creation with a real slant on a futuristic fraternity between the sentient beings of two planets. A small number of Earthlings plucked from high society are revived from their cryongenic state to reinhabit Earth in the 27th century. Seeing that their world has become destroyed, they set out on a space mission to colonize the nearest planet in the solar system, Mars. Hours away from landing, they are seized by an alien carrier which transports them to Spectra, an Earth like planet almost a hundred light years distant. The terraform, as they observe is ‘almost a carbon copy’ of their own planet, there are many similarities and identical surroundings and features, much owed to its evolution on par with Earth. The part that is different involves the arrival visitors in situations where they become isolated and vulnerable, not helped by their innocent connection with criminals – (such are enemies of the state) and by them taking on a dual but secret identity as they flee one state ‘The Becimy’ and take refuge in another known as ‘Stellar.’ War between the two sides takes place and the characters find themselves caught, not only from divided loyalties caused by the conflict but in their own incrimination and imprisonment for their former association with traitors. Their incarceration comes in a seizure of them on board a stealth ship which is used by the Stellan attack forces. They come by this community accidentally after leaving their patron’s company when they decide to move on. Their capture occurs once they are located by a couple of Becimian personnel officers, following orders then intelligence reports are confirmed. Whilst the Becimian administration determine their sentence, Stellan contacts to the few interned plan a rescue attempt, guided by their alien friend’s psychic ability. Following a short conflict between the two states, the Stellan company take their opportunity to free the Earthlings from their island jail. This happens in the middle of the night so not to attract any unwanted attention. The escapees and their rescuers find refuge in the north of Stellar, still in hiding, in temporary accommodation. After their lucky release, the Becimian state trace the fugitives and there is a recall to trial. The Earthlings return to The Becimy and face the court over associations with a triad of terrorists, only to be exonerated and cleared of blame. Author's note: This novel of mine is one that has been in the making for a very long time, and originally I was inspired by great storytelling and compelling narrative which proceeds with a gallup that makes reading sci-fi, fantasy and adventure a fascinating addiction. I wanted to produce a classical piece of general sci-fi literature which has a real edge, yet light and a little trippy in its context, to have us all question the validity of a reality on an exoplanet, not much different to our own. As I set out to write, I evaluated how to depict this substitute reality (for the characters) and decided to lay out a world not too much of a departure to our own but strange enough in other ways for the reader to believe this was not Earth. The alien civilization, its environment, culture and practices share some common characteristics or 'denominators' to what we humans experience. In viewing a set of probable similarities, I first had in mind, physical properties such we share with extra terrestrial life forms, gravity, light/colour, temperature, magnetism, radiation etc. then explored further, into planetary evolution, like that of Earth, orbiting its local star, 5 billion years old. The start of life, the distribution of sea, land, our climate - these ideas had to be incorporated into my book. Yet in Spectra, I adopted ideas compatible with a more advanced stage of evolution than we face at present on Earth. This alien race I create are ahead of us. My attempt was to convey a sense of a parallel world
