Steve Ditko (1927-2018) is considered one of the Giant among comic book artists. For part of seven decades he produced tens of thousands of comic pages, some consider some of the greatest and most important in the history of the artform. He was the illustrator for the earliest GORGO stories (KONGA #1-3) and the came back for a good run later on (GORGO #11, 13-16; RETURN OF GORGO #2-3).
