A practical teacher's resource, this text is specifically written to fulfill all the requirements of the national curriculum in science for primary schools. Intended for all teachers, particularly non-science specialists, it provides comprehensive coverage in an easy-to-follow format. Full of practical ideas, it gives children meaningful, relevant things to do. "Blueprints: Science 5-7" provides activities for key stage 1. "Blueprints: Science 7-11" includes activities for key stage 2. For each key stage there is a "Teacher's Resource Book" and a book of "Pupils' Copymasters", which closely follow the structure of the publication "Science in the National Curriculum" (HMSO, 1989). The "Teacher's Resource Book" is arranged in sections, each corresponding to work at a level of the national curriculum; the "Pupils' Copymasters" match some of the activities at each of the levels.
