Rebekah's Lane

How far would you go to help a complete stranger? Lane has just awakened from an Egyptian vacation nightmare. Now, his nearest and dearest all have the bug. His girlfriend claims to be his sister, his son is not his own. When his mother throws a fit and calls the police, forcing him to the streets in search of answers, Lane ends up fumbling through the newspaper and concludes that his kith and kin might be part of a secret experiment, or even worse, an alien abduction that wiped their memories clean. A further investigation turns his thoughts in a more rational direction, and after meeting Rebekah he will soon learn that the local authorities should be the least of his worries. Rebekah is the adventurous young daughter of a wealthy conservationist. She has an odd liking for Lane, and curious of his dilemma. Fearless and equally interested, she partners with him through his riveting investigation armed with only a semi-automatic and a book bag with unknown contents, and by the days end she encounters more than enough challenges to seduce her audacious desires. Together, Rebekah and Lane find themselves biting off more than they can chew on a road to the unknown. The first person they interrogate ends up dead, the second is a drunk that stumbles over his words, and when the well runs dry they take a flight to Mockington – where Lane’s family were last seen – to end up in a wild goose chase turned high speed evade and elude with unknown assailants. Once comradely issues amongst the two erupt, they understand they’ll face a few more grave spirals and kinks before reaching the climatic truth and finding Lane’s loved ones… if they’re still alive.
