The BLUE BOLT title was one of the earliest Golden Age titles, and has a great run through the 40s and the 50s, going through changes in ownership, writer/editorship, and even format. By the 1950s the superhero Blue Bolt was gone and the magazine had become the classic horror you find in this terrific issue of BLUE BOLT WEIRD TALES #118. Within another year of this reprint, the name Blue Bolt would be gone completely and it would be GHOSTLY WEIRD TALES. The comic reprints from Golden Age Reprints and UP History and Hobby are reproduced from actual classic comics, and sometimes reflect the imperfection of books that are decades old. These books are constantly updated with the best version available - if you are EVER unhappy with the experience or quality of a book, return the book to us to exchange for another title or the upgrade as new files become available.
