This journal is used for motivational and affirmation purposes. This is not a magic bullet, but is intended for the purpose of supporting young Black males to motivate and change the mindset from a negative prospective of our skin color and race to a positive image of being African erican. This journal is to also inspire more support groups for African erican Male both young and old. What Is Motivation? According to Get Well Minds Motivation is the process that initiates, guides, and maintains goal oriented behaviors. It is what causes you to act, whether it is getting a glass of water to reduce thirst or reading a book to n knowledge.Motivation involves the biological, emotional, social, and cognitive forces that activate behavior. In everyday usage, the term “motivation” is frequently used to describe why a person does something. It is the driving force behind human actions.Affirmations are a self-help strategy used to promote self-confidence and belief in your own abilities. Affirmations should be repeated daily and for thirty days to have changing effect in ones life. It should be continued as a routine even after thirty days.
